A WARNING TO THE CURIOUS!

Beware! This NSFW blog contains mild adult content. The 'Oltretomba Chronicles' consist of fictional tales and artwork inspired by pulpy movies and the sleazy and sexy fumetti of the 70s and 80s. Beware! These stories are thus often sexual in nature, pretty sordid and they, more than once, venture into sleazy taboo subjects. So keep in mind, these are ONLY stories... yes, exceedingly exploitative ones, but just stories nonetheless! Should you be offended by such delicate matters, please head to the exit, quietly, and seek more wholesome pleasures elsewhere. No need for you to be a moral crusader and blabber about it in the comments because, remember, these are just stories. You don't like 'em? No problem, don't read 'em!  The various sections primarily consist of an amalgamation of writing, photo manipulations and graphic novel style panels to tell the atmospheric, ongoing or serialized, stories - making use of excerpts from (fictional) diaries, notebooks or ancient tomes, old newspaper clippings, outtakes from obscure publications, candid photographs, polaroids, sketches, drawings and much more... For a bit more insight of how I work, you can check the disclaimer, while below you'll find a short overview of the different sections to be found on the site.
Stay on the Main Road
The weird and wonky history of the Slausen family as compiled by retired Texas Ranger Alfred Pereira who, after the disappearance of his daughter, retraced their steps for decades before coming to a shattering conclusion. In the summer of 1969, a bunch of teenagers disappear while stranded at the abandoned Slausen's Lost Oasis. A diary from one of the girls and some photographs are later discovered. Six years later, a group of young film makers head out to the desolate site to shoot a horror movie. None of them would ever be seen again but a wealth of 'material' is left behind: photographs, log books, diaries, pages from the screenplay, publicity material and even some footage. The mysterious Slausens having disappeared, the Texas Ranger ventures deeper into the tourist trap's warren of hidden tunnels to discover a shitload of macabre stuff chronicling the history of the Slausen family, tracing it back to 1876. Picking up their trail at the Grand Canyon, and later at an abandoned summer camp, the Texas Ranger discovers the shattering truth of the last of the Slausens. Many years later, a documentary film crew ventures deep into the Louisiana bayous for an exclusive interview with the Texas Ranger, now living in isolation in a decrepit old plantation house slowly being taken back by the swamp. Only their footage is recovered... Contains mild incest, allusions to bestiality and cannibalism.
